About Cherrie Nute

Cherrie Nute earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of South Carolina. Painting professionally since 1976, Cherrie Nute has produced over 100 successful fine art limited edition prints, many of which have completely sold out. She paints realistic southern landscapes, scenes of Charleston, SC, and still lifes and florals in clear, clean colors. Paintings also done in a more impressionistic style are another way she enjoys creating art.

Cherrie Nute has won many awards and commissions for her prints and originals. She painted the White House and was given the opportunity to present it to President Ronald Reagan in the oval office. The original now hangs in the Reagan library. She worked on special projects with former governor Carroll Campbell, celebrating the state of South Carolina.

Cherrie is now offering both her available prints and some originals in her on line gallery.
